These steps outline how to connect and program your wireless barcode scanner for use in Molo.
- Connect the charging base directly to your computer or laptop using the supplied cable. If using a USB hub or splitter, sometimes not enough power will reach the base. So if you experience issues, connect the base directly to the computer or laptop.
- Place the barcode scanner in the stand to ensure it's powered up and charged. If it's your first time receiving the unit or it hasn't been used in days give it at least an hour charging in the base.
- Remove the scanner from the base.
- Scan the tiny QR code on the backside of the base near where the cable attaches.
- Now print this document on normal 8.5 x 11 printer paper. It must be printed on paper.
- Scan the barcode. You should hear a few beeps and then the scanner will restart itself.
- Now print this document on normal 8.5 x 11 printer paper. It must be printed on paper.
- Scan only the USB Keyboard HID barcode.
- Once again scan the tiny QR code on the backside of the base.
- All done!
